The duty of the Worship and Music committee is to assist the Pastor and Church Council in providing a high quality worship experience for the congregation involving as many members of the congregation as possible according to their gifts. The committee assists in planning all regular and special worship services of the congregation. It also provides for the recruitment and training of members of the congregation to serve as worship leaders including worship assistants, readers, cantors and ushers.

Working with the pastor and the parish musicians the committee helps to plan the music used during worship services both in the liturgy and hymns and other forms of special music.  The Worship and Music Committee also oversees the duties of the Altar Guild.
